Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)

1. Scope & Core Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") establishes the mandatory rules and safety standards governing the use of VidExtend ("the Service", "we", "us", or "our"), including all AI photo animation, image-to-video generation, motion preset tools, and custom prompt synthesis features.

By accessing our website, uploading reference images, or generating videos, you agree to strictly adhere to this Policy. We are dedicated to providing a safe, ethical, and trustworthy environment for creators worldwide while maintaining absolute zero tolerance for illegal, abusive, or harmful material.

2. Content Standards & Strictly Prohibited Categories

You may not use our services, prompt engineering fields, or media upload capabilities to generate, animate, process, store, or distribute any content falling under the following six strictly prohibited categories:

• 1. Violence, Graphic Gore & Physical Harm (暴力/血腥内容): Any imagery or prompts depicting graphic bodily harm, gore, decapitation, dismemberment, extreme bloodshed, mutilation, torture, animal cruelty, murder, suicide encouragement, self-harm, mass casualties, terrorism, bomb manufacturing, or glorification of real-world violence.
• 2. Sexually Explicit & NSFW Content (色情/NSFW内容): Any pornographic material, explicit sexual acts, nudity, visible genitalia, erotic animation of real persons, sexually suggestive posing of non-consenting individuals, striptease, or non-consensual sexual content.
• 3. Hate Speech, Harassment & Defamation (仇恨言论与骚扰): Content that attacks, demeans, harasses, bullies, stalks, defames, threatens, or incites hatred or violence against any individual or group based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, disability, gender, gender identity, or sexual orientation.
• 4. Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) & Minor Endangerment (儿童不安全内容): ABSOLUTE ZERO TOLERANCE for any depiction, generation, or simulation of child sexual exploitation, abuse, sexualization of minors, or age-inappropriate animation. All detected attempts will result in immediate permanent banning and mandatory reporting to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and relevant law enforcement authorities.
• 5. Deepfakes, Non-Consensual Impersonation & Identity Theft (深度伪造与冒充他人): Using another person's likeness, face, or photograph to generate synthetic video simulations, deepfakes, revenge imagery, false news, or misleading political endorsements without their verified, explicit, written authorization.
• 6. Intellectual Property, Trademark & Copyright Infringement (侵犯版权与商标): Uploading proprietary third-party artwork, logos, trademarked assets, or copyrighted media without explicit legal ownership or licensed permission to produce derivative animated works.

3. Violation Enforcement & Disciplinary Measures

Any violation of this AUP constitutes a material breach of our Terms of Service. In the event of an identified or suspected violation, VidExtend reserves the unilateral right to enforce immediate disciplinary actions:

• Immediate Content Takedown & Purge: Instant termination of offending generation jobs and permanent deletion of violating inputs and outputs from our cloud storage buffers.
• Quota & Credit Forfeiture: Instant revocation and cancellation of remaining generation credits and subscriptions without refund or compensation.
• Account Suspension & Permanent Blacklisting: Temporary restriction or permanent termination of user access, account credentials, device identifiers, and payment identities.
• Escalation to Legal Authorities: Mandatory reporting of unlawful, malicious, or minor-endangering activities to competent domestic and international law enforcement agencies.

4. User Reporting Channels & SLA Commitment

We actively invite and empower community members, users, and rights holders to report any content, prompt, or account suspected of violating this Policy.

Official Reporting Email: support@vidextend.com (or abuse@vidextend.com) with the subject line "[AUP Content Violation Report]".

To expedite our investigation, please provide the following details in your report:

• The URL, Record ID, or visual reference of the generated video/content.
• A concise description of the violation and the specific prohibited category involved.
• Any supporting evidence, documentation, or ownership certificates (for intellectual property or identity impersonation claims).
• Your contact information for correspondence and verification.

5. Platform Content Moderation Architecture

To ensure proactive safety and compliance, VidExtend enforces a robust, multi-layered content moderation pipeline:

• 1. Pre-Generation Text Safety AI Filter: Every prompt, camera movement instruction, and motion parameter is parsed in real time before GPU dispatch via the Waffo Content Safety Scan-Prompt AI Engine and heuristic filters. Prohibited prompts are rejected upfront before any rendering credits are consumed.
• 2. Pre-Generation Visual Media Classifier: Uploaded source photos undergo automated vision safety classification to detect and intercept NSFW, gore, or restricted visual patterns.
• 3. Post-Generation Frame Risk Monitoring: Automated post-synthesis spot-checks inspect rendered video frames for potential boundary violations.
• 4. Human Trust & Safety Escalation: Flagged edge cases and community reports are reviewed directly by our trained compliance specialists.
• 5. User Appeals Process: Users who believe their generation was falsely flagged may request an appeal by emailing support@vidextend.com within 14 days, with appeals resolved within 48 business hours.

6. Policy Updates & Governance

We continuously refine this Policy to adapt to emerging safety considerations, regulatory requirements, and AI industry standards. Updates become effective immediately upon posting to this URL.
